Top Boy Series 2 Episode 2 (Channel 4) Review

Only two episodes in, we’re already half-way through the limited time Top Boy has to tell its appropriately dense story and the show is starting to feel a little stretched. The first four-episode series was so strikingly confident that it’s only natural for the writers tasked with the comeback to want to include more story threads and character experiences, but what we’re really interested in is Dushane and those who interact with him and his world. Right now he’s getting less screen time on account of various disconnected tangents.
