Sons of Anarchy Season 6 Premiere “Straw” Review

The season 6 premiere of Sons of Anarchy debuted last night and in a word, I’m overwhelmed. However, I’m probably not as overwhelmed as the members of SAMCRO and their loved ones who were all caught up in their respective troubling situations when the 90-minute episode concluded.

Where to begin . . .

As the episode concluded, I started to wonder what could possibly be left in the season if we’d been faced with so many different problems in the first episode? At times, it felt like overload. As I watched the encore episode, I reached a different perspective on the seemingly endless array of shit storms brewing for my favorite fictional motorcycle gang. No matter how much Jax tries to get the club on the straight and narrow, no one can escape the consequences of the past. If you deal guns and live life as an outlaw, there will be consequences and a lot of collateral damage. Ultimately, last night’s episode felt more about consequences that all trace back to the club’s activities.
