Familiar

The third Stargate spin off based is very familiar. It reminds me of a poor Battlestar Galactica knock-off. Fans of Stargate hoping to have a replacement for the canceled SG Atlantis will most likely be disappointed. No real likeable characters, boring story lines, almost no comedic moments and really visually boring.

Storylines so far revolve around problems on the spaceship - even after six episodes they are still rehashing all the same problems that they began the first episode with. While these problems certainly need to be dealt with, something beyond these already previously discussed issues would be intriguing.

Human interaction also leaves something to be desired. One would expect much more infighting than the little expressed; though the military has control of the rations, and the members of the team on the original planet surely knew to follow the chain of command, there is a fundamental difference when you believe that you can never return home. The only scene that truly captured human reactions to me was at the end of 'Light'.

get over it, we all know it appears to be battlestar, move past that people keep saying that like it makes a difference. I think the cast was well placed, so far the problems are what you would expect on a trillion year old spaceship. After they get the basis down and the characters built up it will continue to better story arcs.
Infighting im sure will come mid season. But the people on the ship also know, they need everyone together or they are ultimately screwed.
And once again, they specifically told everyone this stargate would not be like the previous. Be more drama, less joking. Still they have had some good jokes, and when they get the ship working better, sure they will joke around.
So in conclusion, suck it up or quit watching

What's the point of telling someone to quit complaining? The same way he can stop watching the show you could have stopped reading his review. It's not like only the opinions of people that like the show are valid. If it sucks he has every right to say it sucks. He's probably still watching in hopes that it will get better. If it doesn't it'll get canceled and you will have nothing to defend.
