While all of us Chuck fans are happy the show is coming back, knowing it's not scheduled to do so until March has been a point of frustration. In the meantime, there have been some rumblings of other possibilities for the show ââ¬â Before he recently left the company, NBC's Ben Silverman had said there was the chance of the show going beyond the thirteen episodes ordered for Season 3. Then, at Comic-Con two weeks ago, Chuck co-creator Josh Schwartz said the show could be back sooner than announced.
This morning, I asked NBC's President of Primetime Entertainment Angela Bromstad about what the current scheduling plans for Chuck are. Said Bromstad, 'We're on a great track creatively, but it's not scheduled to come on until March." Bromstad did add they had talked about Chuck as a show "We [could] allow to run over into summer," implying more episodes could be ordered. But as to both that possibility or the show coming back earlier, she couldn't commit to either, stating, "Those are just discussions that we'll continue to have, but right now the show is scheduled to come on midseason."
