The Tomorrow People Season 1 Review “In Too Deep”

The plot thickens on The Tomorrow People. Stephen is more determined than ever to find his father. Jedikiah is suspicious of Stephen’s allegiance. And the tomorrow people decide it’s time to go on the offensive.

Stephen went on his first assignment with Ultra. Ultra was tracking a seventeen-year-old breakout tomorrow person named Kurt who was robbing banks. He would take control of a security guard’s body and force the security guard to do the robbery, then Kurt would collect the cash and casually stroll out of the bank. Unfortunately for Kurt, his extracurricular felonies landed him on Ultra’s radar. Jedikiah sent one of his agents, Vaughn, to locate Kurt and Stephen asked to tag along. In his naivety, Stephen thought they were going to grab Kurt and help him. Given everything that Stephen has seen and heard about Ultra, I’m not entirely sure why he thought that’s how things were going to go. But anyway. Vaughn had orders to kill the kid, but Stephen helped Kurt get to safety with John and Kara. Jedikiah was none too pleased with this turn of events, and Stephen was horrified to find that his actions cost Vaughn his life.
