Holy crud. That was pretty intense. A lot went down, so let̫̉s go at this one character at the time.
Sam: Sam is quickly becoming my favorite part of the show. I love that tonight they used her character to tie up a lot of threads from earlier in the season. Shẻ̫s funny, bitchy, and has a heart. Tonight she learned Brookẻ̫s attack was her fault. Her friend Jack seems like a real doof. I thought it was cute that he liked her, but not that he beat someone half to death to show it! What the hell! She better come home soon.
Brooke: Poor girl. She was finally bonding with her new daughter (who it seems has eliminated her chances of becoming a BABY baby mama) when she discovers that it was her daughter rather than her actual mama who caused the attack! She did a great job at the end when she was upset and looking for Sam. Ỉ̫m glad she isn̫̉t angry at Sam for what happened, although that would be pretty out of character for Brooke. Shẻ̫s always been forgiving in the past. I also felt bad for her when she was talking about being a big ho in high school. At least she got the sketches back..
Julian: I am also really starting to like him. I generally like marshmallow characters (solid exterior, squishy inside! got that one from veronica mars.) It was pretty funny when he drew P & J in the salt. I love that he has most of the people on the show right where he wants them. It seems he can pretty much piss of Peyton and Lucas as much as he wants with no consequences. I want him to get with Brooke!
Owen/Millie: I once wanted him to get with Brooke, but his fear-of-children thing has gotten pretty old. (Nate is generally my dream boy on this show, but when I saw Owen dwarfing him in the Slamball game a few episodes ago, I felt the tides change...) I can̫̉t believe hẻ̫s drinking because of Brooke, when it̫̉s his fault shẻ̫s mad! If he would only stop making yoủ̫re not a real mom comments! If he gets with Millie, I will freak out. That is a horrible betrayal in so many ways, and just.. gross. Plus I think he would break a virgin like Millie. Ouch.
Nate: His little montage with the freeze-frame was reallllly stupid, but I hope that call is a yes. His scene with Jamie on his shoulders was also adorable.
Jamie: I know Jamiẻ̫s adorable, but I thought his piano scene tonight was a little too silly. He lightens up the show, but I wish he would sometimes act like a real 5 year old. (Whiny, peeing the bed, not being quite so wise and inspiring..)
Lucas/Dixon: If you liked James Van der Beek as the crazy director guy, you should definitely see the movie The Rules of Attraction, in which he also plays an extremely insane coke sniffing guy. Lucas seemed pretty amused. I thought hẻ̫d be a lot more freaked out. Props to Dixon on the Lucas and Haley thing though, I always thought that would happen during the first few seasons.
Peyton: Cancer! What the hell! All of these obstacles, for the past nine-ish years in Tree Hill time, and now cancer?? Since shẻ̫s clearly not going to die, it just gets on my nerves. Get married already. I get my cancer fix from House and Greỷ̫s.
JACK̫̉S BROTHER! Quentin̫̉s killer! We all wondered what the heck happened to him, and here he is, on a dark stormy night with two vulnerable teens in his car. I really hope nobody else dies and Sam doesn̫̉t get too involved with him. My Q nerve is still a little sensitive.
That̫̉s all for now guys! Leave some comments! I will now put on my cape and fade into the darkness.
