Dark Times Ahead, but for who?

There are several contenders for bloodlusty drama at the end of this season. In past seasons each character has taken a dose of reality (pun intended) but this season we have five new characters that have been soliciting top honors for the donation of tears.

First we'll start with Kutner. He's comedy relief and the youngen who charms the wits out of everyone who needs a charmin'. What could possibly happen to him though? He could be this seasons sickly Foremen, but no one has the affinity for Kutner like they did Foremen in his glorious days so that's a check minus. Plus, I don't think the crew would give Kal Penn enough credit to take on such a heated roll.

Then there's Taub. We love Taub in that disgusting sort of, "You'd be cooler if we knew each other in college" kind of way. He's got his own sophistication. His story is simple. Loves his life as it stands. If anything happened he would be devastated. Again though, Taub isn't that endearing to us to feel as though his death or exit from the show via sickliness would be as affective as the huge loss at the end of season four.

So we throw down with Thirteen. Firstly, let me set the record. Nothing will happen with Thirteen via Huntingtons Korea (?). Her battle would lye with House when he finds out that Foremen lied to him. I picture a cold war, then a bay of pigs, then a nuclear fallout. Thirteen has killed someone before with carelessness and she could do it again, but it would be more interesting if both she and foremen did it together this time. That's just one way I picture this season going up in flames. There are many more.

Then we have the final two. I know you're scratching your head. That or you're saying, "Kutner, Taub, and Thirteen aren't new". To that I say, "Shut up! ...that's why."

The four character we find to have a dark ending for our fifth season is Cuddy's baby girl. If you want to talk dramatization you better imagine Dr. House trying to save the one thing that could make or break the only woman he's loved in a very long time. You want a two part episode that will finally make House the male spinster of Fox prime time, you've got Cuddy's baby on a silver platter for the writers to hash out. Not to mention, I don't know how old Cuddy's baby is, but SIDS is still a viable alternative.

That brings us to our final pick. *Drum roll*

Taub's wife.

I know right? I don't even remember her name either. But she's made just enough appearances this season to make me think that either the writer's are just filling time, or they're actually setting her up for something dubious. Not to mention the actress they chose actually seems quite viable to pull off a dramatic cut and print. I know I said Taub isn't that endearing to us, but that's because we would rather see Taub in the field rather than in a hospital bed (Much like Kutner). If he's trying to work his wife's case, I think he could be an asset to the season finale working around everyone else's storyline while pasting them all together quite nicely.

good ideas for david shore. this show is starting to fall apart and nothing intersting is happening. i think house saving cuddy's baby would be a good season finale. house could be like "you give me something, i'll save ur baby." but then if he does save the baby just coz cuddy says to, then house is being more sensitive and gay!
