X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST Leaves an Action Sequence on the Cutting Room Floor and a Mutant Casualty Goes with It

We often bring you news of actors joining casts of superhero films, like Paul Rudd (Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues) playing the lead in Ant-Man or a new villainous addition to The Avengers: Age of Ultron; it’s not often that we bring you the disappointing reality of an actor left out of a film entirely because of an editing choice.  Unfortunately, that seems to be the case with Anna Paquin’s Rogue in Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past.  While the film unites nearly the entire casts of Singer’s previous X-Men films along with that of this film’s predecessor, X-Men: First Class, a sequence cut from the film contained Paquin’s only screentime, meaning she’ll be out of everything but the credits and the DVD/Blu-ray special features.  Hit the jump for more.
