Jennifer Lawrence Wins 2 Years In a Row: ‘Don’t Ever Do This Again’

Jennifer Lawrence won a Golden Globe last year for “Silver Linings Playbook,” but that didn’t make her acceptance speech this year any easier: Lawrence earned  the Best Supporting Actress prize for her performance in David O. Russell’s “American Hustle,” and though a capable and funny speaker on most occasions, Lawrence was visibly nervous and confessed to shaking.

“I don’t know what it’s so terrifying – this is obviously a good thing,” Lawrence said. She opened her acceptance speech by thanking Russell, who also directed her in “American Hustle.” She described him as the “most brilliant man in every single way,” citing his many credits, from “Flirting with Disaster” to “I heart Huckabees.”  Read More...
