Leslie's first few days back at her old job may have been bumpy, and filled with petty jealousy over inside jokes she couldn't be a part of, but in the end she realized that she really was never meant to return to her former position in the first place. And that, as Ron pointed out, she'd eventually leave to do bigger and better things. That being said, she'd also managed to, through her years of manic over-achieving and sugar-fueled perfectionism, inspire the slackers around her to become invested workers.
