HELIX: "274" REVIEW

Last week I felt the last hour of the two-episode premiere lagged a bit, and while 274 started slow it built to a one hell of a good cliffhanger. The show is doing a great job of creating this claustrophobic, eerie vibe. I especially like that for the most part, we're hearing what are characters are hearing: suffocating silence punctuated occasionally by the sterile female voice on the intercom and the terrifying screams of a monster who used to be their co-worker.
