THE FOLLOWING: "RESURRECTION" REVIEW

Look, it's not a bad show. It's just saddled with a premise that grows increasingly frustrating the longer it runs. Which isn't a full network season, mind you, but 15 episodes still feels like a grind come, say, the 9th or 10th installment. Especially when so much of the series involves hidden followers and Ryan Hardy's unfathomable suffering. In fact, how many people suspected that his niece's new boyfriend, the pastry chef, was a cult member? Like, right off the bat? Or, say, even one of his crime scene analysis students?
