After watching the first episode I felt incredibly cheated. I felt like someone close to me had not only jabbed a knife in my back, but they had wiggled the sharp object inbetween my spine and THEN stop stabbing me.
Melodramatic, yes...I know.
Yet that was how I felt, maybe I was expecting too much when I first heard about a new FMA anime, but I couldn't help it, after all I had been informed that this would follow the manga and I guess - to some degree - it has. However, the introduction of the character's e.g Hughes, happened incredibly fast, and i'm sure it would've left me slightly baffled if I was a total n00b to FMA.
Still, I find the change in art-style interesting and I'm not entirely amused over Mustang's new voice actor - BUT HEY! Less of the negatives and more of the positives, eh?
The first meetings between Roy and Edward within the second episode made up for the previous crap they rubbed in my eyes, I especially enjoyed how they had managed to sick to the manga yet give it a little twist.
Overall, I'm lost. Do I like this or not? I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think two episodes is enough to judge, it does hold potential though, so I'll continue watching this series to see it's progression.
