Should Supernatural be cut?

with so many turns that supernatural could take, should the writers cut it at the end of season five? there are so many questions that the shows fans have, myself included? Some of the questions that I have lying on the top of my head are is Sam going to take a turn for the dark side? Will Dean end up killing Ruby? What ever happened to Jo and Ellen? There are many more questions that i have, the writers would be required to cut a lot of corners to bring the show to an end after a season and a half. I don't believe they should be able to do this, there are many people who throughly enjoy the show and watch it weekly like a religion. I am quite sure that there would be many upset girls who also love Sam and Dean as well as the show. So what does the supernatural fan club think? Should they cut Supernatural after Season 5 or should they keep going for at least another season or maybe even two?

As a hardcore fan of the series a very large, very loud, part of me is screaming to make them continue the show past season 5, but, there's a little (significantly quieter) part that thinks that the next 34 episodes just might be enough to wrap up the whole thing without too many corners being cut. But, if you believe the rumours that are floating around (I won't tell here... go find them somewhere else...) I'm starting to doubt that 34 episodes will really be enough.

I am probably in a minority, but I am always one of those people that prefers a show to go out in prime form a little bit earlier, as opposed to overstaying its welcome.I'd rather the show ends after 5 strong seasons. We can then enjoy it in perpetuity on DVD (and perhaps syndication).

I too prefer the writers to bring a show to a proper conclusion rather than go out on a cliffhanger because it's cancelled. I appreciate it's a fine balancing act, but I reckon, if you know you have x number of eps to bring closure, then it's best for the fans and the actors, as they will at least know when they'll be free to work on other projects.

I dont think it should be cut anytime soon I personally started watching sn at season 3 then bought seasons 1 and 2 to watch. Look at the x-files, went for quite a few seasons before ending and it ended great. I think supernatural should not end after season 4 like the rumor has been going around which would be quite depressing. I also think once they air the last season they should make a movie like the x-files. I am a big fan of the x-files and supernatural. So yes I hope supernatural will live on for a long time.

I think there should be season six and then end. Seems like a good amount of time to rap everything up, and end in its prime!
