'Strike Back' Season 4 on hiatus: Filming on final season paused after Sullivan Stapleton injury

Fans of the Cinemax original series "Strike Back," some bad news: Production on the action drama's fourth and final season has been put on a lengthy hiatus due to star Sullivan Stapleton's recent off-set injury.The series was at work in Bangkok, Thailand when Stapleton experienced a rather serious injury while exploring the exotic locale during his free time. As the series requires he and his co-lead Philip Winchester be in peak physical condition, production will break for six months to allow the actor to fully recover.Work in Thailand will continue, as schedule, through March, with the series filming around the injured actor, who had already filmed a majority of his scenes to work around the promotional duties for his upcoming film, "300: Rise of an Empire."
