TV ratings: 'Hannibal' Season 2 premieres lower in Friday night time slot

Fast national ratings for Friday, Feb. 28, 2014 It shouldn't really come as a surprise that NBC's "Hannibal" premiered to lower ratings than its Season 1 bow on its Friday night debut -- that's just what happens when shows move to Friday night -- but there's good news for the serial killer drama: While the Season 2 premiere was down from its first Season 1 outing, it still managed to beat the last five episodes of Season 1 and perform better than its fall counterpart, "Dracula." CBS won the night in overall viewers with an average of 9.9 million people tuning in for the first Olympics-less Friday in a month and a 6.2 rating/11 household share. A new episode of "Blue Bloods" managed to draw the most viewers of the night -- 11.8 million -- with "Hawaii Five-0's" 10.4 million viewers coming in close behind.
