The Mentalist ..... oops i mean Lie to Me is wait and see

Ok so if you've seen the mentalist you've probably seen this show and if you like the mentalist you will probably like this show. I have to say i do like some of the characters in this show like the guy who says whatever is on his mind, the main character and the natural lie detector lady. I can't quite get the role of the boss lady she doesn't quite do it for me, I mean she's alright to look at but it bothers me that the writers are searching for the same dynamic as bones, the mentalist and the way they recruited the girl and thrust her into the field immediately makes no sense at all so i'm going to wait and see on this one.

. . . i think Lie to Me is better, i mean, the premiss is better, the approach is more realistic, and it looks like Lie to Me is trying harder to show how the science works. that, and, is it just me or is their no concept of forensics in The Mentalist?

I agree, the fact that you can use the forensics from Lie to Me in daily life is just a surplus. I am already taken in with Lie to Me, the Mentalist doesn't cut it for me.Even Psych shows more forensics than the Mentalist

C'mon, there really isn't a comparison between the two shows. Lie to Me has basis in science while the Mentalist is more of a sideshow kinda thing. Might as well be watching John Edwards, same kinda fake crappola. Lie to Me actually has an edge to it. The Mentalist is obtuse.
