Tribute to Prison Break

This show started out with a man robbing a bank so he could end up in the same jail as his wrongfully convicted brother on death row. This man, Michael, had the intelligence to plan and execute the perfect break out. All of his plans were tattooed on his entire upper body. Michael recruited his prison mates, some without his approval to free his brother, Lincoln. Through many trials and struggles they managed to get out of prison and started on their quest to take down "The Company", the people who had set up Lincoln to take the fall for their crimes. They faced many challenges along the way and had many near death experiences. They managed to get to Panama city to start a new life for themselves, but the fruit of their labor would not come so quick as Michael was set up to take another fall and this time ended up in Sona, one of the toughest prison on earth. His task was to free a Company agent or risk the life of his one true love, Sarah, the doctor he met in prison who helped him escape. Michael managed to escape Sona with the company agent only to find out The Company had not kept their end of the deal and was led to believe they had killed Sarah. With this rage, he went after the company and when he finally caught up with one of their agents, it was revealed that Sarah was actually alive. He met up with her and given limited options decided to participate with the government to once and for all take down the company. This endeavor did not succeed as the federal agent, Don Self, assigned to the case had his own personal agenda. Self's plan to get Scylla, the companies "black book", which contains all sorts of information that can change the world, for himself and sell it for hundreds of millions of dollars backfired and Scylla landed in the hands of Christiana, Michael's mother. Don and the rest of the crew including Michael were captured and forced to work for the company. In the end Michael was able to outsmart both General Kranz, the man behind "The Company" and his mother to get Scylla in the hands of the right people in the Government and United Nations, which led to Michael and his partners being exonerated. We were given a snapshot of 4 years later in which Sarah had a son, who was named after his father Michael and the crew got together at a cemetery to put flowers upon the grave of the man who got their lives back, Michael. He had died due to complications resulting from his childhood. The message on the tombstone read "You must be the change you wish to see in the world". Michael had certainly changed the world and his legacy will live on as Prison Break concludes. I would like to take this moment to say this was a wonderful show, with many twists and turns. The ending, with Michael's death left me with tears, but I knew Michael had accomplished his task in the world and his legacy would live on with his son and I knew this show had to come to an end. I would like to thank the producers, writers, directors, and anyone else involved with this wonderful show, they did an amazing job concluding this amazing series.

Yes I was very sad to see this happen. Michael did deserve to enjoy his life...after all his struggle he died...tears rolled down my eyes as I saw the grave site. It was a conclusive finale, but it was also very sad.

Guys, come on I was a massive fan of Prison Break and thought series 1 & 2 were some of the best of US drama. But let's not eulogise it after its finish when it jumped the shark big time after series 2, and should have ended in series 3! The ending with Sarah bearing Michael son shows exactly why. I cannot recall Sarah and Michael kissing once throughout their imaginary love affair let alone getting it on. Sarah's character emotionless terribly wooden throughout and there was simply no spark between the character or indeed the actors throughout the series. The story that she had Michael's kind kid sums up what happened when the Producers/Writers ran out of steam and the narrative began to fall apart with implausible storylines like this immaculate conception! Sorry any credible story would have to have such an important shown or referenes, even in a flashback. Good bye PB, season 1-2 will be missed 3 & 4 not all.

Did not like a bit at all the ending but had it not the ending ended that way, PB would be just another flick in passing. The tragedy of the ending will be one main reason why PB will remain etched in our hearts. Grrrr... :((

The reason it says 2005 is because that whole 4 seasons took place in a matter of months. If you notice, season 1 they broke out Lincoln in a month, season 2 was also a maximum of 2 months, season 3, they had to take Whistler out in a week, but they got another week, making it two weeks. Finally season 4 was also maybe 2 months max. It also stumped me in the beginning, but I remembered how long it really was in each seasons. Hope it helps. Great show overall.
