This show will fail

I love it, i was just waiting for something profound to happen since like the first ep because the show has a bit of a budget to not have any excitement, and ep 8 and 9 proved me more than right, but is it too little too late.

I would have to say yes the first 7 episodes you have got to admit were a little boring but I stuck with it because i could see the under currents building to a crescendo which would be spectacular and interesting and would make you think what the hell is going on and draw you in for more, but most people like gratification within a 45 minute window when it comes to TV because people dont have the time to sit and think ill keep watching this because i have a hunch that this is going to pick up.

if there had been a few expulsions blah blah blah less back story less soul searching it would have taken off like a rocket, but it wouldn't be such a brilliant show because all that stuff that i previously mentioned makes you really feel those high moments which i think there are going to be a lot of now.

unfortunately rating have plummeted since ep 1 and i doubt we are going to be getting a second season don't throw fruit or vegetables or anything i would die for a second season after this one but that tv for you

you can either be really popular and not have much back story excluding lost and a very few other shows or you can be a REALLY deep and riveting show and lose a massive chunk of your audience while your setting the scene...

Oh and sorry i didn't get that everyone already knew that there was never going to be a second season never mind that it was nearly canceled on ep 8... that would have really s***ed so another brilliant show ended because of the inpatients of the American public god really you come up with the best stuff then cancel it when its just getting good.
ok really this may get band and i will defo will get abuse for this, but what ever.
do you think that the Muslim extremisms are really just pissed at America because they keep canceling great shows, i know i'm damn pissed I mean babbling on some random site pissed not bombing ABC pissed maybe throwing a few rocks and rotten eggs at the chairmen of ABC and prity much every other TV channel that has canceled a show that I like... ok im buying a ticket to America to throw rocks at CW ABC the guys how made stargate everyone who has ever tried to cancel family guy which is basically every network Maguire network excluding si fi and a few others that i cant think of right now, ill make a trip out of it, which will end up with me in prison for a few months or something lol one can dream.

Well I think the character building was quite enjoyable. I wasn't bored with the first seven episodes at all and I am quite looking forward to future installments. I think a big problem with television is that people are just unwilling to think when watching a film or tv show. Most would rather sit watching some mindless rubbish like reality television or soap operas. This "opiate" style of television has a huge effect on science fiction in particular because with sci fi a reasonable amount of knowledge and/or intelligence is required.
Not quite sure what that has to do with muslim extremists though.

Negative much? I choose to see the glass as half full; Thus, the show will be a fantastic success. I agree that the show so far seems very original and innovative compared to the standard; Though, Donner's narration voice pushes the show over the edge into awesomeville. BBC has its own problems, case in point with Demons and Torchwood being cancelled; And, America does have its own BBC channel called the PBS {Public Broadcasting Station}. P.B.S.'s problem is that the public inherently see how the private sector/Capitalism does almost anything better, than the government, in multiple ways.
