Heroes: Biggest Blue B*lls Since Lost

To be fair, I've never seen Lost.

Anyone else notice that just about each episode of the new season doesn't really go anywhere? I mean, it does progress forward, but not enough seems to be revealed to feel like the show is getting closer to "the big picture" or "final battle". That big climax. They just keep moving at a real slow pace repeating their lines from the previous episode with hardly any action (they have super powers, lets see some more blood) and just when you think something is about to be revealed, to be continued.....

I'm all for shows that continue one after another and follow a theme rather than random circumstances every episode, but come on now. Give us, the viewers, some kind of satisfaction each Monday night instead of jerking us off for an hour and then letting go just when things are getting good. Give us something to be an awe of, but just when things seem to be good, a new piece of the puzzle is revealed. It's kind of what you are doing now, but up the ante. Show us that the stakes are high.

Now if only I can find a place to post that ABC will actually read this....but anyone else noticing this?

I agree. The first two season, I was addicted to Heroes, couldn't stop watching it. Frankly, now, I'm bored of it. It's just trying too hard, don't you think? The episodes don't have that novelty and kind of raw excitement to them anymore.

me too i agree, its like they even forget whats been goign on in pevious episodes, they keep making twists without letting the previous twists set. its just so confusing that it becomes boring.

well the problem is they haven't really resolved anything. First few episodes were grasping, but now everyone gets in trouble because...well the characters are stupid (looking at you cheerleader). No joke. This is the 3rd season and everyone still runs around like a chicken with their heads cut off.
Where they are now in the show can have simple outcomes, but nobody is making any moves. Maybe the writers should take Hiro's lead: trip balls. then they could come up with something better

Okay, good, I'm not alone either. I was completely sucked in by the first two seasons and still think it's one of the best, if not the best series out there. It's still at the top of my list but I agree with eriol that there are too many twists and the audience isn't getting enough time to let it soak in before they pull out another one. The time travel piece worked really well in the first season but now I feel almost like they're just using it as more or less of a gimmick now and for filler for the real meat of the story. It's kind of getting annoying actually-I don't want to sit through a whole season of the writers showing us multiple futures and the characters having to run around and prevent every one from happening. I feel like I'm playing 6 games of blitz chess at the same time, while drunk. It might just be me but I also feel that many of the characters are changing their allignments too quickly without much warrant. The characters are doing too much reacting instead of pushing the plot forward themselves. It's taken to long for them to really delve into the mysteries of the company-I know little more about it now in the 3rd season than I did in the first-I feel like they're really not paying up on the suspense of it. That being said, it could just be that the magic of the first 2 seasons is just waning a bit as some series will do. But please don't let this happen to Heroes, writers if you're out there listening!

I dont know how you can say its not going anywhere, as we are at last seeing the heroes use there powers, and how it all began and who started it all, and how some of the characters got created, and came to have the powers they have, so how can you say its not going anywhere?

Jonathan1: re-read the posts and you will get your answer.
And the characters are hardly using their powers, and when they are, it is not anything exciting. oooo Syler or peter is holding a dude in the air with their mind....wow. How about they forced a a wall to crash down or turned someone inside out by thinking about it.
Satreed: It's not just about patience. We've had that. I'm noticing flaws in their story telling and movement. Honestly, it's gotten to the point where I feel dumb watching it.

Cytem, i understand what your saying but if you remember season 1 and 2 the first few episodes were not all that good. atleast that is what i think. but they picked up later on as the seasons neared their conclusion. personally i think the biggest problem with heroes is the time travel thingy.I mean they are always trying to stop an alternate future. That needs to be changed. But i think overall its a good show.and also cytem you talked about the heroes not using their powers enough, i think that will come at the big conclusion because all they are doing now is setting the stage.
