That would be awesome, but what if the actors are sick of the show? Oh well, I'll volunteer right now to play any role open! lol

As far as I know Geller didn't want to do the show anymore. It was basically accepted by the entire cast, as far as I know. There really isn't any chance of them bringing it back. If you didn't know already, there is a season 8. It's in comic book form, though. But it's completely canon, and is really Season 8. So no, Buffy will never come back.

Plus, I'm sure Joss has moved on. New show in February, I believe.
Honestly, there's literally 100% no chance of it coming back. Think of it this way. Joss isn't going to just make season 8 in TV form, that'd just be stupid. But it'd also be stupid to skip an entire season in the TV series as well! There's no way it could be done at all. :(

I tried to fallow a virtual Show of fans on the net but it was lame. I have always thought willow was the true star of the show and wanted them to do a spin with Alyson Hanningan Titled Willow. Were she may still struggle with her power happy side. But primarily good. Ali was the most versatile actress and she was after all the one in the end. If you count spike out. He just blew himself up. Any Moslem can do that. WHAT to soon!!!

I heard a rumour some where (not sure where) that they were gonna make a spin off series called the ripper based on Giles when he was a bad ass rebellious teenager. Its just a rumour though.

In what universe could Emma Roberts live up to the acting standards that SMG has set? Come on now.Even though this is my favorite show ever, I think it's safe to say it's over and done with.I think it's like Timtation said, Joss has moved on. His new show Dollhouse (with Eliza Dushku) is starting in February.
Off topic:jitney; "he just blew himself up. any moslem can do that."That was randomness fueled by idiocy. Not to mention your spelling is god-awful. Read a book. Preferably about religion, cause you seem to not grasp it.

Emma Roberts is hot. Thats already a step above Sarah Michelle Gellar. As for Sarah's acting all she did was the poor me thing really well. In-fact thats all she did. I agree it's over. But I think there is a better spin to be done other than Angel.

Giles' spin off of "The Ripper" was only an idea, but it fell through ages ago. The show's been dead for a while, and everyone pretty much confirms at this point that there will be no continuations (especially not with this cast). But who know about this distant future (well, distant in regards to television). Maybe in 5-10 years time there will be a new slayer who must face an entirely new set of problems, etc. But the show ended on a very good note. It had a profound sense of completion and finality to it.

Actually I'm pretty sure Ripper is going to be a series.
Hey, maybe Joss will make it available online like Dr Horrible. Who knows.
Also there was a Spike movie but we don't know anything about that, either.

I guess I was the only person that felt comfortable with buffy ending, yes I enjoyed the show and whatnot, but they were ready to end it, and they did do quite good at ending it.
Angel on the other hand pissed me off with that #$&$ing cliffhanger ending.
So in summation, Buffy returning would be awkward I think, and Angel returning (for just 1 more season... at least) would be what I want, that show left many more plots left unfinished than buffy.
And I have never really been a comic book person so I don't see myself taking that route.

I miss the show soooooooo much, but I think it's true that it was time for ending it, at least on screen... It was a way to keep it good till the end... a show like that couldn't go on forever without loosing its peculiar quality (look at XFiles for confirmation...and I DO love Xfiles as much as Buffy, they're my favourite ever...but XF went absolutely bad for wanting to go on too much..)..The comics, on the other hand, are quite a good idea... You have the stories back, without messing with the original format.. Even though I prefer the Angel comics, I think the story was more likely to be told with this kind of media already... But it's also nice to have som Buffy/Scoobies update!!!About possible spin offs... well, they talked about 3, "faith the vampire slayer" (!!! this went off quite quickly), one about Spike (they talked about that for years, but in the end it went off as well, also because an actor, who is a human being, ages while a vampire stays forever the same...so there was a time limit for doing it), and the ripper, that was probably the more likely to be done, but will not happen as well due to..don't really know, but now Joss Whedon is busy on other stuff, so it's fair to say, as someone mentioned above, that by now everybody is at peace with the Buffyverse being over for good on screen...

I really fell in love with Buffy and im curently watching all the angel episodes and i think they SHOULD do somthing new for a GOOD vampire show .....I think TV and Movies have given up on a good vampire thing i know Twilght just came out but i felt it was the WORST vampire movie i have ever seen.....Even if they dont bring back a new season for buffy thats fine but i think they should bring somthin back new and freash and good......i liked the idea of haveing a show about Willow thats would be cool...but oh yea i just remembered there is a great vampire show right now the first season just wraped up but TRUE BLOOD is i find the best since buffy but im a huge vampire fan in general and i would love to see more movies and shows.....not even 2 years ago hollywood did the whole zombie theme for like ever now i think the VAMPS should have MORE of the spotlight ...well thats my thoughts im not sure if anyone agrees tho

If they remake or restart buffy they must bring angel back into it. The first three seasons of buffy were wonderful, but the last four, and almost all the angel episodes, were terrible. They split the cast up to make more money off the two shows, but the characters were built around each other, and and in their attempts to fill the plot-holes left by the split they broke all the rules that they had set for themselves in the beginning of the show and completely changed the characters.

There is no chance it will be coming back. As much as I loved the show, I think it ended at the right time.
