On The Edge Of Cancellation !

Dear Fox For You Have Sinned,

I personally think DOLLHOUSE is an amazing show with great potential, but what i can't stand is the fact that it is on a FRIDAY! Why not just shot me in my head, and what was FOX thinking! I saw the premiere of dollhouse (season 2), and DAMN it blow me away :D This wonderful SHOW must go on!!! The thing that broke my heart into one million little pieces was that it have only 2.5 million viewers. I can't do it alone, so common people WATCH DOLLHOUSE every Friday... Leave your T.V. on that channel i don't care... Just help us save this show! Its created by Joss Whedon for god sake! Also, Fox needs to advertise DOLLHOUSE more! SO COMMON JOSS WHEDON FANS!!! I'm only one voice, but I'm hoping my voice MADE IT CLEAR.

Seriously...
This always seem to be a prime topic about this show...
I would not be shocked to to see it cancelled with those lowish numbers tought ...Ultimate Fighter 10 did 2x that amount at 10pm on Spike!
And TBH kings got cancelled and was a REALLY great series with Ian Mcshane... So dont expect the quality of the show to affect the cancelation balance!

It wouldn't be the first time they ditched Joss by giving him "the Death Slot" Firefly was probably one of the best shows on TV, but FOX thought it would be best placed when folk are out on dates or getting their drink on. Let's face it, all those coked up execs just don't like good TV.

I've already posted on another thread that it seems FOX has done very little to get behind Dollhouse in terms of promoting it, and since they seem to be treating it the same as Firefly, they must have something against Joss Whedon. I have no doubt the numbers would be much higher if it weren't in the Friday death slot (especially since it is geared toward a younger audience, this just doesn't make sense). I'm sure if they could only take a look at the statistics for DVR and internet viewings they would see that people really are watching. After all, they wanted to cancel it after last season, but it was the large number of dedicated FANS who brought it back. However, I don't know how long the network will hold out on fan-based campaigns.
So I think aside from everyone leaving TVs running Friday nights, a good course of action would be for fans to contact FOX personally to try to get them to understand that Dollhouse deserves a better time slot. I'm sure numbers would go up if it were on a different day, and if not then at least that would be a better means for considering cancellation than the way they are screwing it over now.
I will always stand behind the shows I love!

My understanding is that they DO look at DVR viewings and internet viewing, at least on certain sites, like HULU. If you're watching this show online, watch on HULU so that they get "credit" for it. I believe this is why the show's lasted this long.
