This Show....

Grey's Anatomy started out as one of the best shows that television had seen in a while, drawing in viewers with juicy drama and dark, witty humor. But now, it seems to me that it has become a tangled mess of drama gone amuck. Since when are George and Lexie living together? Why is Meredith so whiney all of a sudden? What is going on with Cristina? And why is Callie kissing Erica? I'm beginning to think that Grey's is headed for an early exit, but I could be wrong. It's possible that writers just tried to stuff too much information into too small a time slot after the strike. But whatever they did, in my opinion it's a mess. As a big fan of this show, I truly hope that Grey's isn't a 4 season burn-out.

i agree. Maybe the writers will realize this and season 5 will be good like season 1 or 2

It's definitely gone downhill, which is hard to tell if it can just be blamed on the difficulty of keeping the greatness of a show going for more than the first few seasons. It seems it has a lot more potential left, though, if they continue with the energy of the last few episodes of this last season and cut away from stupid stuff like Izzie saving a deer and her awkward relationship with George.

Totally agree. I don't know what has happend, it was all so exciting before right? Yeah, I don't get the deer thing with Izzie. I mean, okay maybe it had some symbolic meaning and it was showing izzie being herself, but what has that got to do with the story line? Ugh honestly, towards the end of the season I started getting BORED. Bored of Grey's Anatomy, that's something I didn't think I'd be saying ever. = lAnd I don't why they have changed the personality of people, yeah like Christina, and Meredith being whiney? Hope the next season goes up again.

I hate to say it but in my opinion Meredith was whiney from the very beginning! That's why I always felt more affection for Cristina and Addison and well, literally every other character on the show.I thought season 4 was way ahead of season 3. I hated the izzie and the deer nonsense though, I agree on that.
Hopefully season 5 will be more like the heady heights of season 2.

I stopped watching in the middle of season 4. Season 1,2,3 are amazing just different than everthing else. I think for me it starded to be enoying when callie and george married and when burke left on his own wedding. I just don't really like callie. And the relationship with izzie and george fine but don't end it. I would be a lot better if they just where together in my opinion. And meredith i totally agree that she is whiney. I think i'm going to starded watch again. Is it same as season 4 i give grey's anatomy up

i agree that season 4 was the worst season of grey's anatomy...but i still love the show. i never thought meredith was whiney and i still dont. she's just screwed up and confused...and thats kinda what i like about her. I hated the izzie-george relationship from the beginning so i agree that that sucked and i didnt really like callie much in the beginning either...i thought she was boring and i definitely didnt like her and george together...but personally, i think the season finale made up for the entire crappy season.i started to like callie towards the end of the season with the McSteamy-callie-erika love triangle and i loved the mer-der house moment. i feel like izzie was kinda left out this season with so much going on with all the other characters so i hope she has a bigger role next season...but i dont agree that grey's sucks and im really lookin forward to the new season!

It has become one of those shows that has fizzled out hasn't it! In the beginning it was new and exciting and enjoyable to watch. Whereas now, it's all old hat, following around new characters I don't find interesting and focusing on the 'ross and rachel' relationship.

I will always and forever be a dedicated Grey's Anatomy FAN!
I haven't hated a season yet, i do agree that the start of season 4 ... before the writers strike was below the level it usually is... but then after the strike... back into GA awesomeness. Season 1,2, & 3 were all fantastic. I can't wait for season 5. I have no doubt this will be the best season ever! MerDer finally together ... and for good. I don't think Shonda Rhimes will break them up again, She said herself that she was sick of the on again off again relationship and that they needed to move forward with what happens after happily ever after. It will be funny, and scary, and sexy and sad... but they will do it all together, and experience what it's like in a real relationship again. Derek will move in with Meredith, and all will be well :) MerDer 4 Eva. Also, i too agree... Meredith isn't whiney, she's just one messed up person, which she is fixing. SO yey! I hope her therapy sessions haven't finished... she still needs to work through a bit of stuff, and tell Derek about the whole therapy thing would be a good start as well.

The show has been great all four seasons, and I don't see any reason to expect any drop off for season 5. I just voted for my favorite scene on this site: everyone who is reading this should do the same and please vote for the Derek and Meredith scene or I'll go nuts...
