You've got to be kidding...

All I can say is I must have seen a different show.

That garbage makes Roadhouse look like Shakespeare.

Which show are you referring to? This post isn't tagged to anything.

I'm sorry... I can't seem to get the hang of how to comment on the shows...The Beast with Patrick Swayze.Awful.At least I thought so.I'm sorry this is probably the last filming he'll do.

Well, actually it might be his last one since he's got heavy cancer at the moment.

I was not a huge fan of the show either - it seemed a little overly dramatic, though I think Swayze's character and acting is good. I'm hoping that we just need to get used to the tone and pace of the show, but I saw the first two episodes and my main reaction was that I was lost on the plot and found some moments of ridiculous over-dramatic reactions hurting the show's potential.

wat is wrong wit u guyz, d show was superb. i think people just don't get it cos its not in the traditional comedy stroke fast paced action that the normal law enforcement shows r based on, this is more gritty and street, a whole new direction 'n' i think its wonderful, i was begining to get tired of the same ol' same ol'.

To each his own, of course.I just found myself able to predict what would happen next and what the characters were going to say before it occurred. The whole "don't show the missle no matter what I say" scene could have been written by an 8th grader. I need something with a little more depth.I'll take reruns of Shawn Ryan's "The Shield" over any new episodes of this any day.
Which unfortunately for yourself, doesn't appear to be likely with the prospects of Mr. Swayze's health. He has my prayers and best wishes.

I could not agree more with Brownfox. I am tired of cheesy cop shows like 'Life' or 'The Closer'. I watch both shows; however, they cant hold a candle to 'The Beast' with their cheesy comedic relief which pretty much kills the show for me. Now, I have not watched the second episode yet because nobody has posted the link. But for all of you haters out there, this show is easily one of the best shows on television. If some network were to come out with another sucsesful cop show that is just like the rest of the other shows, I would seriously consider taking up a career in writing the same type of shit that the rest of these cop shows are about. I would make millions doing that =)
