to end...or not to end?

Avatar is perhaps one of nick's best shows. It was a show which can be liked by pretty much anyone. However, unlike most of nick's other show, avatar has actually ended. Most nick's show never end(i.e. fairly odd parents, drake and josh, etc.).

Avatar actually had a long-going story which was beautifully conducted.

But here is the problem as i see it: its too good.

Nick is a channel designed for kids, but this show is designed for everyone. It doesn't follow nick's normal standard/style of shows. It is simply not designed for nick.

I personally would like to see this show go on for ONE more season(any more and it would lose its awsomeness). Then, it could build side stories(adventures of airbenders?, past avatar shows, etc.).

Any thoughts?

i think what they should do is make a chapter for the airbenders seeing as how they made 1 for all the others, and eventually ang finds a hidden village of many airbenders. And then after that they could make the show a story of all the previous benders and of there lives or even make it where ang is older and new troubles come and then a twist...there is a second and new avatar and instead of saving the world he is trying to destroy it or something or take it over and ang needs to stop him or help him or w/e. I mean i would love to c this show go on for at least 1 more chapter...and i hope it does. i mean something tragic could happen to Katara and he goes on an angry rage to find out what happened or who did it...i mean i can come up with ideas over and over and some sound great.

Why would the Avatar try to destroy the world? That makes no sense. I don't think they could even if they tried.

There could always be some sort of twist. And also he got the avatar state back so the cycle nvr did end. I mean it would b cooll if they twisted it up and made another avatar. And jsut because there the "avatar" doesnt mean they cant go bad or anything. I would sjut like to see this show go on. idc what they do as long as the story is good, and there is more to all the airbenders. And it would b really cool if a new type of benidng was introduced.like they ahve water/blood Earth/sand Fire/lightning and then jsut Air( thye should make a second technique for airbenders) there could b like a time bender....one whp can slow down time or something like that...actually it sounds kinda lame there but a new bending would b pretty cool.

While i would love to see some sort of ULTIMATE bender(one who can mend virtually everything, from the basic stuff to blood, metal, wood, time, w/e else), i think it would make a pretty lame show. And i am pretty definate that they arn't going to do that. Generally, even though we all think its cool, a unbeatable allpowerfull hero is pretty boring to watch.
I think they need to solve the big problem of what happens to Air benders. They didn't ever actually state that bending was past over genetically. Infact, there is alot of proof against it. They said tribes learned from the animals(dragon, beaver, something for rock, and air bisons). So maby, Aang can go teach the people that have the "spirit" of the airbenders(those guys that now live on the eastern temple) to airbend. Idk if that would work as a storyline, but its a possiblity. mainlly i really want to see the future of airbenders.
Or, they some how tie that into

Those all sound like awesome ideas but I have a HUGE question. What happened to Zuko's mom? I mean he went to his fathers cell and asked where his mother was then it went strait to that house thing were Sokka was painting and Aang and Katara kissed at the end. Then it went to the credits so now noone knows what happened to his mother I mean either that was a really random part with Zuko and his father or the creatures compelety forgot.

Honestly, I think it would be best for it to end, because like all shows, there will be MANY unanswered questions. I have watched TONS of different shows that I think would be great to continue, but there is no use in petitioning (in my book anyway) for the continuation of a show that has ended. Miraculously, there are probably some cases where they have continued a series, but it is highly unlikely. As much as I would like to watch new episodes of Avatar, I think it is okay where it is left off. All series have to end somewhere, and this one has some pretty good length to it. Just throwing my opinion out there.
