NBC Gives Life More Life

Life has received a sentence from NBC - for a full season.

The network has ordered the back nine episodes of the quirky cop drama, giving it a full-season pick-up.

The ratings-challenged sophomore series has seen its share of timeslots so far this season, premiering on a Monday, then moving to no man's land Fridays, and now to Wednesdays. Its first airing at the Wednesday 9 pm slot last week produced a modest improvement on Knight Rider, perhaps enough for the Peacock to keep the faith in Life.

so happy Life is here to stay. Would hate for it to be taken off the air, especially without finding out who is really behind sending Charlie to prison!

Damien Lewis is just brilliant in this. It's a clever, quirky series, and I'm really glad it's been picked up again.

I also LOVE "Life". It is a good show - sad how if something is not in the same old mold - that no one wants to see something original. I mean, it does go on the edge of the movie/show looking for the killer with one arm ... but it is still really a great show - and I LUV the cast - a nod to Adam Arkin too - glad to see him back on T.V. !!

I grew to love this show after I saw it online. I'm glad Sarah Shahi is on primetime TV. Loved her on the L word. Damien Lewis plays a really different character than I've ever seen on TV. He's really complex. A man with a lot of Anger who finds a Zen like peace in Jail. I really hope its not cancelled.

This is one of my favorite new shows. I like that the characters are complex, a little edgy. Was worried it was cancelled since it hasn't been on since before Christmas. The writers need to rethink the romance between Reese and her 'boss'. It just doesn't work, at least for me it doesn't. Also glad to see Adam Arkin back on TV. I've never seen either of the two main characters before and I'm impressed.
