House 'Birthmarks': What did you think of the reunion?

Spoilers for "Birthmarks" Included!

This week's House brought up some interesting issues as this episode skirted away from digging further into House's new team's personal lives as the last episode did with Taub, and dug right into House's personal life - guess what! He kind of has one!

"Birthmarks" finally brought back the 'Houson' issue full-on, as since Wilson quit, we've gotten bits of Wilson here and there, but in those bits, only assurance that Wilson wasn't planning on returning - to the hospital or to House.

Okay, so really we knew Wilson wasn't going to be off the show and this moment of reconciliation had to happen, but I felt like it was really done right.

As Wilson dragged House to his dad's funeral, we got a little history of how Wilson and House became friends in the first place, plus an almost real House breakdown at the funeral, then a real Wilson breakdown as he put a big ol' bottle of liquor through the church's stain glass window!

It's what we've always loved about 'Houson' - they love each other at the core of it, but in a real way that never has those fuzzy friendship moments, just the occasional breakdown and reboot sessions that every real friendship needs.

I think this episode did justice to House and Wilson's friendship in the way it has always been, plus gave them a little more to build on.

So what did you think? Did you like this reunion for House and Wilson or were you hoping for something more or different?

Well, the review did say "Spoilers Included", you were warned. But oh well :)
Anyways, I thought the episode was great. I'm really happy that Wilson is back, my friend kept on saying he wouldn't return (psht)!

Ok. Loved the episode. T'was amazing :D When House got all chocked up (whether it was 'real' or not) I almost cried...until he clipped off a part of his dad's ear...that was interesting haha.
Thought they might have mentioned more about House's relationship with his dad...they said a bit, but not much tbh. But meh.
So glad about House/Wilson being back together again, yaay! It was the final scene that did it for me, when House said, "Wilson. My dad's dead." That was heart-breaking. Plus he looked genuinely broken at that point...I was sad for him. :-( Although I really wanted to know what happened after that, if only the episode had gone on a little longer.
So, to reiterate the point I'm trying to make...
Wahay: House and Wilson! Awesomeness :D

i think that house is becoming a little bit to much of a sitcom for my taste and they should be on guard for that.
cuz else we would just get another "scrubs".. the first few seasons of house worked that well because it was a tv-show about medicine, with a disturbing doctor named house who just kicked ass and gave the show it's fun and emotional side. and because of this balance it was so shocking at first. but now they're allmost primarily focussing on house :P.
you could sum up this episode with : "house and wilson went to the funeral of houses dad and in the end they became friends again... oh and there was a patient."
to put this whole story in a (lame) metaphor, lets say you really really like icecream. so every time you have some, it's really really good. but if you eat icecream every day, you'll get bored with it... it will lose its houseness.. (even though most icecreams i've had didn't have houseness.) so better not have a show filled with the funny house-isms icecream :D
but of course, i'm really glad wilson is back in the show and back with house, because even though i knew he'd be back, i was worried :P it was a good episode
but i hope for some more moments of house, alone in his office, throwing his ball against the wall and figuring out the diagnosis.. with a rainy background and those blue eyes staring in the distance...

Houson is one of the best bromances on television. I was SO excited to see Wilson just pop up next to House in the car. I smiled as big as House did.My favorite line, "I'm not doing this because I care." LIAR!! lol.Anyways, I've always loved the Houson dynamic and am out of my mind crazy happy that Wilson's back. I don't know about everyone else but I'm DYING for the next episode.

Loved the episode.
BUT did anyone notice that the spy guy disappeared? that sucks, i thought it would be so interesting with him:-(

ha! i bet (possible spoilers, but it's just what I think may happen)that wilson is going to find out that house was spying on him, is going to have a "breakdown" "you were SPYING ON ME? I should have known it! House, can't let a person be blah blah long wilson speech"

Large good to be queen

From what I understand, Spy Guy is going to be on his own show, and this was a kick off to get us aquainted with the character. I'm glad Wilson is back (even though I think he has serious enabling issues), but I too wish they'd get back to more meds, less personal drama. I would watch soaps if I wanted that.
