I first fell in love with Samurai girl through the books. I was glued to the books, I read so much my eyes hurt. I always wished and hoped someone would pick it up either as a movie or show. When I saw the commercial for the show I jumped and screamed for joy. Samurai girl takes it's readers *and now watchers* through so many twsits and turns with real life emotions. Heaven in my view point, would make a better role model than Miley Cyrus because Heaven acutally has to show real strength. Not just the strength to stay alive but the strength to keep going, no matter what. This show is true girl power!

I'm looking forward to Samurai girl because as an Asian American woman very much connected to my ethnicity, I'm always looking to learn about my own and other cultures and how networks here in the US handle the Asian world. I also like martial arts. It will be fascinating to see how ABC Family handles a series like this.

I can't wait to watch the series! I started reading the books and loved them! The action. the romance and the mystery was amazing! Now that they have finally made a series about the books is just awsome! I finally get to "see" what I have read! And Brendon Fehr(hope I spelled it right) was great in Roswell so I know he'll do a great job in this series!

I've never read or even heard of the "books" and I don't have cable, but I heard about the new show here and decided to check it out. From what little I've seen, the show is pretty stellar so far. I like how Heaven's reclusive life drastically changes and how she takes things really well despite her loss- she's a really strong character with strong ties to her family and will do anything to keep them safe, which echoes filial piety in Asian cultures. She's also no damsel-in-distress- able to kick some major Yakuza ass. I also really like how the lead is Asian-American-something you rarely see in Hollywood entertainment. I hope this show will stay on air.

I enjoyed Samurai girl. It kept my attention the entire time. The story and cast were excellent. I hope there are plans for a sequel. I hope this is aired again on TV and put out on DVD very soon.
