As terrible and neglectful as some of the Top 10 Worst TV Parents may be, it turns out Dan Scott's awfulness is by far the most awful of all! A near second place went to Locke's dad on Lost, Anthony Cooper, and Weeds' Nancy Botwin came in third.

Absolutely! I completely agree with this result. I don't think Dan Scott has anything likable or redeeming about him (though neither does Locke's Dad...).Nancy isn't that bad...what saves her for me is that unlike the first 2, she's not 100% bad...while in a twisted way, she has been known to actually look out for the well being of her kids once or twice.

What?! Nancy Botwin?! She's a great parent in a shitty situation...thats bull. I think nathan patrelli from heroes should have the spot nancy botwin got.

3. Nancy is more of a bad parent than the two that got ahead of her. Why? Because she loves her kids and unlike the other two she isn't a bad person at all but she has no idea how to raise her kids right. I don't watch One Tree Hill but from the comments it seemed more like Dan Scott was just a bad person and Anthony Cooper from Lost was the same way. Yeah they completely screwed over their kids but that's because they were twisted.

He was a bad person AND a bad parent. Oh, gosh. He is just so wrong on so many levels...

AGREED. he was the worst father EVER. though he was really repentant in the end :/We shall see in the next season then!
