Twilight Director Gearing Up for Sequel

Attention Twilighters: All major actors from the megahit vampire flick have signed on for the 2010 sequel New Moon and the Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke is getting ready for the next film.

The pending sequel, which centers on mortal heroine Bella (Kristen Stewart) and werewolf Jacob's (Taylor Lautner) growing friendship, has many fans worried whether fan favorite Lautner will be prepared to step into his enormous werewolf shoes.

"I've got this to say about Taylor. He told me the other day that he had gained 14 pounds since I last saw him," Hardwicke told USA Today. "He's only 16. I think he's chanting to make himself grow."

Of Twilight, which pulled in a whopping $70 million in its first week at the box office, Hardwicke says she feels she fulfilled fan's expectations.

"I do think we create our own world. We got that right," she says. "And the sexual tension between Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella was important to make it feel as if it were the book coming to life."

This is my favourite movie by far (for 2008). I hope the sequel is at least as good.

The movie was so amusing. I was yelled at four times four laughing too hard. That's why I want a sequel, I need some quality comedy. It's so much better than the book.

it sucked compared to the book..there was no tension between them ESPECIALLY SEXUAL TENSION..like no...sorry but no..i felt no chemistry between them in the movie and poor Robert Pattinsonn (can't spell).hiding his accent the whole time...was so obvious...he either needs to hang around NA some more not to have that total strain in his voice or just use his accent..in fact..I LIKED HIM BETTER IN HARRY POTTER..english accents are hot? LOL..okay okay..i kno it's not in the book but neither is a few scenes in the movie..SO THERE...let him have his damn accent.....i thought he was cute then....ew..sorry..bella had NO EMOTIONS (find a new actress or freaking make her have some!!! it was awful! she had the same emotion and facial expression for EVERYTHING..)..i'm sorry...but the entire audiance was laugihng their asses off the whole time....edward first seeing bella in bio class was best scene though..LMAO...loved his reaction..but god ewwww...way to many close up shots and the music sucked for it...and ..new moon movie? why? if so...just make it better than the first..every freaking scene was awkward...and i don't remember twilight being a comedy...i wasn't kidding when i said everyone in the audience laughed at the movie theatre..me and my friends wanted to die...like beyond hilar..can we say epic fail? get a new director ..OH AND OMFG DO NOT MAKE THE 4TH BOOK A MOVIE....all three first books fine...perfect even...w/e edward leaves but comes back...but the 4th? NO ..nothing happens...bella saves everyone with her love shield ..the whole thing was a happy pony rainbows happy ending thing...i mean..no battle...no one dies..after all that tension? make a film of every book just not the 4th...
