The Office: Jim Did WHAT??

*"Chair Model" Spoilers Included!*

During an episode of relationship turmoil for The Office this week, our steady, giggling rock of Jim & Pam carried on adorably.

We know Michael will learn to love again (I have never seen more inappropriately crazy hilarious "closure"), but what's coming up for Jim & Pam??

Do you think we have some Office marital bliss in our near future?

are u kidding me... he is so gonna ask her to marry him, but i think the producers are gonna try to ad some kick, i duno i htink they will try to drag on the engagment so it can last longer. they waited till the third season to actually merge the branches, the british version did that in the first season, so i think they are gonna try to drag it out, but i hope they get married that would be freakin awsome.

and probably to switch off when he gets sick of onw chair haha. the best part is when my dad owned an office they used to do the exact same thing, wait for the new chair for the boss so they could get the old one that was better than theirs

I bet the producers make it so that pam says no, or they have a fight, or SOMEthing to make the engagement not work...which is a real shame because they SO should get married...

I think that hat_madder is on to something. in the synopsis for episode 12, it says, "Meanwhile, Pam deals with an unexpected inconvenience after spending the night at Jim's." I have a feeling that maybe she finds the ring, or something along those lines. But i guess we have to wait until May 1 to find out.

I want them to get married so bad, but I bet like everyone was saying, that the producers will want to drag it out a little or a lot maybe. They'll probably get in a huge fight or Pam will get scared b/c of how her engagement was to Roy and say no. I just thought though that this was one of the cutest episodes for Pam and Jim ever.=]

i think the first comment is right. The writers are going to throw a twist in. and whats that twist? One word,
Roy.

i really hope they'll get married, they're so sweet together! but i do agree with everyone here, jim is definitely going to propose. pam will probably get cold feet though and they'll end the season there. maybe roy will come into the plot.

This was a pretty funny episode. I liked the 'Oscar Meyer wiener lover' comment. I suspect that Jim will toy with Pam a few more times with fake proposals. Either she'll get upset at him because he'll go to far..., or he'll actually try to be serious and Pam will think it's a joke and will turn him down. (or they'll just be way more clever and do something unexpected). Can't wait to find out tho.

Most devoted office fans here are right, something is going to happen to make the potential feel-good-about-the-JAM-situation out, and outredsfan1324 is probably right... Roy will probably throw a hand grenade into the already unsure situation...
anyway- GO JAM!

I agree it would be awsome if pam and jim got married but i think that pam is kinda just looking for a not so serious relationship and Jim is thinking about marrage so i think there will be some fights up ahead.

My prediction.... jim and pam elope!!!They won't do another long engagement on the show or another wedding episode, it will just be a surprise to everyone!!!

I think they probably will get married at some point, but not for quite some time. How boring would it be then?! The only place for that plot line to go from there is babies or divorce. They're probably saving it for way down the road, but they're introducing the idea of proposal at this point to create a point of tension in the perfect couple and pique the interest of the audience. But if it does ever happen, they'd make an event of it. As much as the show likes unpredictability, Pam would never elope, she was the one that wanted a big wedding.
