Can a Family Guy Spin-Off Measure Up?

With the possibility of a Family Guy spin-off starring our favorite slow-talking neighbor, Cleveland, we have to wonder if a spin-off could make it.

Poprox.us gives us a run-down of everything a Cleveland spin-off would need to obtain possible awesomeness.

That is insane! I think that if anything, the spinoff should be about Quagmire! He is the best!!

I would most likely not watch a spin-off. Those have always ruined good shows for me, though who knows, I loved the Private Practice spin-off of Grey's.

I don't think so. There was kind of a family guy spin-off developed already
AMERICAN DAD
if something were to die off, I think it should stay dead.i.e if the creator decided to end it, the new material would be too similar to the old one
if the show died because it was unpopular, that meant it wasn't funny

like pocketlint said, American Dad is Family Guy's spinoff and it's doing pretty well. If they made another one based on Family Guy, I would watch it. More Family Guy is always better.
