Its an interesting portrait of an unusual profession. I didn't know that much about it until I started watching.

Ax Men is great. I am a computer dweller at work. Okay, not a computer dweller. I work for a transportation company, but all I get my hands dirty on are computer keys and picking up donuts. Every once in a while, I get real down and dirty and daring and try to fix my chair. I go home and watch Ax Men, buecause it gives me a thrill to see a dangerous job where others are working hard at.

The job looks soo intense and dangerous. I thought logging was easy - hack away with an ax and yell timber. I never expected the dangerous situations they face! I guess you could say I live vicariously on the dangerous side when I watch Ax Men! I do not envy those on the show, but I do admire them.

Ax Men is a great show, I myself, and the rest of the guys down at Bliss Logging in Concord, NH can't get enough of this show. It's great to really have a show you can relate to, you know? Finally something we loggers can watch and really get into. I hope that one day people of all career paths can have a show that really shows the day to day inner workings of their lives. Helps people understand just how dangerous and intense being a logger really is.
