Lucifer is here.

Sometimes you just know that an episode is going to be great, you get the popcorn, your drink...maybe some heartier food...and it is all gone before you have even got to the title.

This season 5 premiere in no way disappoints from the frenetic guitar theme running through past scenes to the obligatory argument with Bobby to the showdown with the angels to the scene you know is coming....

Lucifer Walks The Earth.

We can only guess what is coming next for the brothers with Bobby out of action for a while, Zachariah's nasty side taking a stroll...and just who put them on a jetplane?

The music choice was great, the edgy direction and acting, the pace and script were all spot on, the hardest part is waiting another week! lol

And No, Not a Single Cow Was Harmed In The Making Of This Film...(Moo!)

I don't know how I feel about this episode. It was, for lack of a better word....melodramatic. I realize that the writers are trying to portray a frantic pace to this episode- it has to be frantic- the Big D himself is walking the planet, but it felt like everything was forced and overly dramatized. Season 4 ended on the same type of tone- too much to do, not enough time to do it I suppose. Here's hoping that the rest of the season doesn't follow suit.

Holy freaking God! this episode was absolutely amazing, I'm like a junky who just got his first fix in 3 months. Bobby is officially the biggest badass on the planet, overcoming a possession with sheer willpower just long enough to stab himself in the gut to ice the demon. My one question though, and it goes along with yours Sparhawke, is who put the guys on the plan and brought Cass back? and did you pick up on the fact that Cass went from a cool but as stated relatively low ranking angel, to being able to kill two other angels without breaking a sweat then stare down his supposed superior Zachariah? Seems to me whoever saved the boys and apparently cured sam's demon blood addiction, gave Cass a sizable power boost too. I can't wait for the next episode, seeing how freaked Zachariah was by Cass alluding to who brought him back, and how Zachariah has shown only wariness of Lucifer who combines the strongest powers of hell with that of heaven (he was an Archangel) and is without a doubt the most powerful being on the scene right now, I can only see one thing that would cause Zach to be freaked.
But im sure im not the only one thinking this, and for anyone who isn't, and can't figure out who i mean, I don't wanna spoil it or being accused of dropping spoilers. personally i hope the season keeps going at the same crazy pace, but I know it won't, cause there needs to be the requisite comedic episodes and such for a true Supernatural season. can't wait for next week!
