Cliffhanger

Just finished watching "The stolen earth" episode, and let me tell you it was awesome. The Doctor regenerates in the end leading to question who will be the 11'th doctor?

The only thing is I thought David Tennant was supposed to be staying on for the next year (well specials cos there isn't a proper season or something?!?!?) Can anyone please explain this to me?

Well think about this then. Tennant was signed on to work more but never confirmed to stay as the Doctor. He was seen filming the Christmas special here...

The man in those pictures with him is David Morrissey. Notice his hair, and the way his hands are in his pockets. Look familiar?
As we know, Doctors always keep a few of the traits of their previous versions, as the tenth Doctor pointed out in "Time Crash."
So maybe he is the new Doctor, and maybe that makes Tennant's appearance either part of a Training for the actor or as a guest appearance as one of the Doctor's previous forms.
Or maybe I'm flat out wrong. Who knows.

I LOVED the Stolen Earth!
Now that I got that out of my system, I dare to take a different approach to the regeneration cliffhanger.
Doctor Who has a way of using the proverbial "reset" button to restore things back to the status quo. Who's to say that this won't happen again? We may very well see a potential 11th Doctor in the next episode, but maybe that's all it is: a potential. Just one way that the Doctor might have regenerated. And maybe by the end of the episode, the Tenth Doctor will be restored in some way. Just don't ask me how...lol.

well, let's not forget about martha - she still has a certain device that she's not supposed to use - and that means that she will use it, lol - I'm sure that is the key to getting things fixed to give everyone another shot at kicking some dalek behind. :P

timelords don't always change their appearance when they regenerate.in the old series a number of timelords regenerated and didn't change. i believe that romana was one of them.

Time Lords always change their appearance when they regenerate. Romana actually got to choose what new look she took on. And other Time Lords like Borusa come back again and again in Doctor Who over the years, having regenerated.

i think were all forgetting what the lady said at the shadow proclemation to dona'i'm sorry for your loss'maybe she meant the doctor or another close companion like marthabut what i want to know is how does micky and jackie end up there because they get captured with sarah-jane even though at the end she is facing extermination.i think that key device that was top secret from UNIT that not even jack knew about but harriet jones did might give us the answer maybe martha pushes the doctor out of the way even though the dalek particle laser shot through half of the doctor not all of him!not all time lords rejenerate the doctors cloned daughter didnt she may be a clone but shes got two hearts!well just have to wait and see

Get your Brain around this right..
so the doctor is regenerating.how thats the big clue.
the only reason the doctor got shot was cause of rose.and rose wasn't even spose to be there cause of the whole parilel world.
so what it it all changed she wasn't therehe would not get shot ?
not regenerate ?

also doctor talks about dona being like a little parilel world.so if she dies which is predicted then maybe rose can't cross over so the doctor will not regenerate.

it's all thorys though.

Lastly.
THE TIME LORDS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOST THAT TIME WAR !!!all the darliks are alive. pretty stupid tbh. waste of time that was

were all forgeting caan he managed to travel to the time war even though its time locked!whcih means it would take a great amount of energy stronger than the tardisand a temperal shift can do this????but it did make him mad and predict the future and he said 'everlasting death to the enemys greatest companion'which means rose!because shes already died once at the battle of canary warf just not techinicaly.he hasent met dona for long and rose can absorb the time vortex and turn them dust which does make her one of the greatest allies of the doc.if you study closly at the end of it the doctors face isnt changing when he reginerates no changed nose hair anything hes the same! and not forgetting near the begging when the doctors first showed on the episode it zooms in on his hand and youve been able to see it alot this series maybe that might come in handy
