Sookie and Bill have chemistry

Anna Paquin is so good in this role; she combines kindness, sexiness, and confidence in an appealing way. I like that she seems to have adopted her grandmother as her role model rather than the less enlightened folks who might have influenced her. So far I really enjoy this show and look forward to it. Given that it comes from Alan Ball, my expectations will continue to be high, and I know I won't be disappointed.

the only thing is that he really does look too old for her. while i think that the actor perfectly emanates everything that bill should be, he does seem too old for her, i have to admit.

Yes, which reminds me how acceptable it is for older men to be withdynover ab younger women. I guess I overlooked the obvious discrepancy in their ages because Bill is so incredibly hot!

I think that is part of Sookie's charm. The character wouldn't let something like that influence her opinion. Plus he is a vampire... he's around two hundred years old. He wears it well, haha.

talking about the Grandma I think that she is very smart, I like the scene when she is with Sookie in the kitchen and how she helps her to open her heart and give some encouragement by telling that people who are not normal probably have some gift that will be unveiled at any time! She talks like someone who has been in love or who knows the matter, she is open minded and she is the anti cliché of old peope being reluctant to novelty or progress, she is tolerant and shows real Christian love. It contrasts with Bill own definition of vampires living in nest and being evil, it is as if he was trying to repulse Sookie by describing his true nature and what she will have to deal with if they go further in their relationship! He is conscious of what is going on, but Sookie is so young and spontaneous that she might not see what loving a vampire could be! I read the books so I wont say more, but it will be more and more fun to watch and not only for the roman
