Women's Murder Club...

Based on the James Patterson novels, Women's Murder Club is like an addictive concoction of Desperate Housewives meets Law and Order with a pinch of Sex and the City. It tells the story of Lindsay Boxer, a tough detective inspector who solves murders. However, she is not alone in her task. Aided by her friends, a young ADA, a medical examiner and a very persistant journalist, Boxer is trying to catch a notorious serial killer known as the kiss me not killer. The 'Club' bring all their expertise to the table to crack other wise uncrackable crimes. Throw into the mix, Lindsey's ex husband slash new boss and we have a show which covers a range of genres, and appeals to a range of audiences.

While Women's Murder Club does bring up some serious issues within its storylines, it is the interactions between the 'club memebers' that really make this show what it is. Not only is the show at times laugh out loud funny in a tough girl talk kind of way but it also provides the mystery and action that I look for in a procedural show. I know I like a show when I recommend it, and I would recommend Women's Murder Club one hundred percent. Once I had watched the first episode I could not stop! Give it a chance, you will not regret it...
