lolwell from the way every other "go back in time" moment, it would be very bad, it explanes why in season 3 episode 2, butterfly effect...change one thing and something much worse will take its place.would u want to fight something/someone ALOT stronger than syler?

it would be kind of counter-productive since sylar and peter share the same mom.rofl.

Ok, I know that Heroes doesn't follow the strictest time travel laws but seriously this question is kinda silly. If he did this he would create a huge paradox. If he did this he would create a future in which Sylar never became a threat, then the peter that went back in time wouldn't exist and the peter that was there wouldn't know to go back to kill Sylar. Therefore Sylar wouldn't be killed and it would create an endless loop. Sorry if I explained this badly I kinda suck as explaining time travel concepts.

because its too easy, just like hiro couldnt just turn back time to when that fast girl took his formula.. with the hard way they fill 40 minute episodes- le duhhi like it tho its far fetched

Hey rember at the end of the butterfly efect how the patrelle's mom said Syler was her child... (even though she may have just wanted him to think that/feel loved) So if Syler was never born would Peter? Nathon? Clare? Mkiah? And everyones conected somehow so who would be here who wouldn't! I also agree w/ Zippy07 (it wouldn't be much of a story if he did)
and also Syler is the creepy guy that kills ppl and gives little children night-meers =D

seriously, i love all of the peters (unless the go evil), but future peter's killed enough stuff. i think that he will try to fix the stuff with claire, and like bocha said...killing angela petrelli is kinda counter productive, and they would probably have someone go after peter to kill him, or whatever.
and when they change time...it completely alters. well, depending upon what was suposed to happen, anyways. it would seem that heroes has a different view on the whole changing-the-past loop. in other stories, i would assume that there would be a loop, a continuous relapse of the same person going back in time to save themself/someone else because you have to go back to the past, then the past you has to do it, then their past has to do it, and so on and so on, and if they dont, it would screw up he space-time continuum preetty badly.

Wouldn't that also mean that.. Cheerleaders was never suppose to be saved? Which leads to 'saving the world'?
I mean, if that didn't happen.. wouldn't Peter still be a hospice nurse? Wouldn't he still be under his brother's impression and criticism? Peter would still only have dreams and thought that he 'could possibly' fly?
The whole plot of the show would have to change, even season one. The whole show would have to change. You may see this as an easy solution, but people involved in the sitution always can't. Some get buried under the gratitude of the situation, and that's normal.

Peter thinks he's already dealt with that situation, and has put it behind him. Growing on it as the victor. And now the show goes in a different direction, having Syler work for the company. Being a part of the Petrelli family. It's the sole mystery, and tragedy of the show that the problems are becoming so bad that... they needed to recruit the most heinous killer out there to help them out.

you guys are all talking about this loop thing but i dont think that would happen as the future peter would have changed the future already so technically there would be no reason for the past peter to go back to his past because his future would be seperate and different to the other peter who helped him change the future, i dont know if i explained that right ohwell.
