I WANT MY HOUSE BACK!!!

I really want the classic house back.. i still like the show, and i still like house, but the impact is gone. it's slowly becoming a sitcom.

i want to see house, sad as always, throwing his ball in his office, alone, his team with the patient. i want the miserable, genius house back. where his vicoden use was still under attack and where he needed to find a way around cuddy.

aaah for the good old days :)

(like for when house went out with cameron :D or with vogler, the big rich black nazi ^^ who tried to get house fired. or the detective with a whole load of nasty in his pants that tried to lock house up. aaah... sigh... :)...)

First off i love house. absolutely enjoy the show and have been watching intently ever since it came out. But what has been disappointing to me, and if you do not agree tell me this, is that its starting to turn into a soap opera. While the first few seasons were more medically inclined, they still had a rich story to fill in all the parts that make you bond with the characters. But recently, all the love turns, and the sudden twist of how cuddy would have her baby, it just wasn't as interesting as some of the earlier story lines of the show, ie second to last episode of the first season. The show i think peaked around the third season, but is now slowly, going downhill. The medical show that had a small personal story line has now become a show about colleagues with a medical backdrop.

For me this season really gives a lot more color to the show, it gives more texture to the audience because of their new backgrounds,..you will be really bored if you'll just see the same characters again and again,, its good that they have another good plot line .. ;)

nah it's like house is becoming more and more like a character from scrubs. his jokes become more and more random and everything goes too easy. it's becoming less obvious how obsessive he is and wilson & cuddy aren't shocked at his behavior anymore... they don't look for options to get around a consent anymore and the whole storyline is becoming less realistic. i loved house in the first 3 seasons. but the plot is becoming a little empty.
i must admit though that the whole amber dying and wilson leaving stuff had me on the tip of my seat, and scored many laughs! :P but the normal cases are becoming a little boring...
just to show everybody the quality of the housisms in the early seasons, i'll post one that i just heard while typing this.
[kid took penicillin and had sex with a girl that is allergic to penicillin]
house: you nearly killed your girlfriend! she's allergic to penicillin..kid: you think i had still some on my lips? i brushed my teeth!house: think lower, and more fun...kid: you mean.. it can go through your.. stuff?house: totally dude..house: there is this administrator here...whenever she gets sick, she just gives me the perscription

Just watched Season4 Ep3 The Right Stuff. Showed Houses softer side. He was kinder, gentle, understanding. Didn't see much of his grumpy side at all. So is this the way he is thru Season 4 & 5?It seems like shows that go on and on get worse, writers lose their touch. Maybe they should get new writers?

its time for the writers of house to make this less of a dramatic Hannah Montanan sitcom and get back to the doctor drama that i like.
i soon as amber died, the season was pretty much ruined for me.
