I love Izzy. Don't get me wrong. While annoying at times, she's a very sweet character who would be awesome for years to come. Her running the clinic, baking things, knitting. She's awesome.
However, given her cancer with such a small survival rate -- if she makes it through it, I will lose all sense of proportion with the show.
I stood by Grey's Anatomy when Meredith went in the water and that whole half-dead thing was really a turn off, but I bought it up. Most of my friends stopped watching it around then, it got to be too much for them.
And now, Izzy is sick. The whole having sex with dead Denny thing? Yeah, thats a bit much for me. But I'm willing to overlook this.
Provided that Izzy dies.
That the show actually shows some reality.
That it stops threatening to do something and actually does it.
With Alex crying and being dramatic about the fact that Izzy may die -- I can't take it seriously, because I don't think Izzy will die. This is a big sham, this is a joke. It's as bad (if not a little better) than the whole Meredith-drowning stint -- they're not going to kill off a main character.
I watch Greys for the cases and for the love stories -- mixing the two is just getting sleazy. So Izzy must die.
Though she won't. And I'll likely keep watching. But at least I said something about it.
