So was this House episode WILD or what?? This is that spice of MAD GENIUS that this show needed to get it back to former glory. I think we've gotten attuned to House's callousness, we're used to the sadism, we're used to the testing of limits but... even though it was unexpected, this has been a long time coming! He's got all the makings of a homicidal crazy person really, just needs some more psychological damage before he gets there. But this episode's mixture of something like Scrubs for the lighthearted play and The United States of Tara for the personality drama. Amber in this dark, evil version of House, this suppressed side of him, is so enlightening and so EXCITING! And-- was anyone tingling all over at that preview of next week's episode??? Finally we can get the Huddy fix we need. I'm in such Fangirl mode right now and I apologize for anyone gagging in stoic indifference but if this doesn't persuade people that the show hasn't gone completely downhill, I dunno what those writers can do and I sympathize with 'em.

Wow... has House got his groove back!

So, *breathe* questions:

Do you guys agree that this week's episodes has brought back the best of House --the surprise-- while opening up a whole new set of possibilities?

How do you think this is going to affect the hinted at Huddy situation? Threesome including Amber/Evil House, perhaps? (Bit too creepy for me, thanks)

Do you think anyone (and who) is going to find out about what was going on in House's head that caused these "accidents" and near-death incidents? You think Chase and/or Cameron will hold a grudge?

And, though this may seem minor, do you think that Thirteen and Foreman are that solid a couple that the whole stripper-licking didn't bother Foreman?

So that's my thing this week, great episode and I thoroughly enjoyed it -- I'm not alone with all the questions and salivating am I?

I know what you mean! I am in total Huddy fan girl mode! I said it from the very beginning and I'll say it again they a right for each other. Also I love how Amber came back in the form that she did. We get to see a little more into the mind of House. We got to see something that even he didn't know that existed through her. I think by having Amber there we understand a little more about house.
And I love the bachelor party. Classic House, I also liked how cuddy was trying to sober up the team.

I know this is a long shot... but could it be that House caused Kutner's "suicide"? I mean he did think for some irrational reason that he was murdered. Maybe he did it for some unexplained reason (or one I can't think of now?) and then Amber manifested as a result of his dissociation and trauma of killing another person?

Ohhh... wow, that's far out but yes, I suppose that's a possibility too. But I see a twist on that, House feeling as though he caused the suicide. It's different when you're awful and mean to the patients you're curing, it's completely different if you're slowly eroding a person's will to live with your mean comments. However, House was actually kindest to Kutner... he LIKED him, even. He always found Kutner's angle on things interesting, new, surprising and fun. But still, I'm sure there's some degree of guilt that he feels so he sees himself as some kind of killer, playing with people's lives whether verbally or in his practice where he takes so many chances during his cases.
But as for your theory... you know what, House is too fragile to be a killer. He's a cute little egg. And Cuddy's gonna warm him up and make him hatch and become a living, breathing PERSON next episode *fingers crossed*
