Omg I can't stop crying

I have just started watching The Ghost Whisperer from the beginning. Because right now television is crap. Shows getting cancelled left and right and the writing on what I thought were really good shows(i.e. Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, Prison Break, even Lost for that matter) has all become disappointing. So I started looking for shows that maybe I have missed for some reason because I was so dedicated to these other shows. After two episodes I am hooked. The only problem is that they keep making me cry the hallmark tears. But other than that I feel like its a great show. Now correct me if I'm wrong because I am about to start a Ghost Whisperer marathon so that I can catch up to season four. If it is not worth my time or you think I am going to be disappointed please let me know......thanks

i've never seen grey's anatomy, but i watch lost and prison break and i think the writing in both shows has lived up to what i love. they're still my two favorite shows.
now as far as ghost whisperer goes, the first three seasons were awesome. season four has a big shock element to it and it's very disappointing. i suggest you watch it, only to see where it goes. because as of right now, none of us really know.
if you haven't watched Supernatural, I suggest you get into that. it's about paranormal events, one of my favorite shows as well.

Thank you I have actually started watching Supernatural (3 Episodes in season 1) and I like it so far. Lost is like a drug.....it just keeps pulling you in with all of the unanswered questions. It does have a way of building you up for each episode. After the writer's strike it kind started going all over the place, I mean more than before. But at least its not as bad as Heroes, my ultimate disappointment. It was all good up until the villains. I think Heroes needs to take a lesson from The 4400, once you start allowing everyone access to abilities it takes away some of the mystery that the main ensemble cast has. I like prison break...but I just wish they had a way of writing off characters without killing them off. It kind of kills the hope that maybe somewhere down the line they could come back. I mean they killed off linc's lawyer in season one, tweener, abruzzi, paul, whistler, lechero, bellick...should I continue. I'm glad they didn't kill cnote. I think writers should pay attention to what people like us are saying about shows and take note, especially if they are losing inspiration.

You should try Medium! That's like a grittier version of Ghost Whisperer! True Blood is great if you like Vamps. Dead Like Me is good too...it's since been cancelled but it was pretty damn good! Also, Dexter is absolutely addicting!

You guys are really helping me out. These shows you named are ones that I have heard of but skipped because they conflicted with other shows. I do watch Life though but I will def have to check out Dexter. Samantha Who was cute I watched a little of it. But I will check them out thanks for helping feed my addiction.

I too have watched GW since the beginning, and I have to admit season 4 kinda turned me off at the start. This past epsiode "Heart n Soul" turned my opinion around. I cried and enjoyed the show. Keep watching- you'll see.

I agree that Bones, Dexter and True Blood are very good (be prepared for some very graphic scenes in True Blood if you watch it). GW is also really good for the 1st 3 seasons but season 4 is a little ridiculous, waiting to see if they turn it round but don't let that put you off the start of it!!!

Okay so you DEFINITELY have to watch Dexter! Dexter is one of the most twisted yet awesome shows I have ever seen in my life. Love it :D
Lets see...what other awesome shows are there...
Okay so I really love Gossip Girl. Don't let the name fool you. It's actually surprisingly good. Trust me.
Ah. Chuck. You should watch Chuck. Chuck is always great. Week after week.
Dark Angel got canceled after a couple seasons but it's great. Has Jensen Ackles in it from Supernatural (In Season 2 and one ep in Season 1). You should definitely check it out.
Veronica Mars, Kyle XY and One Tree Hill are all pretty entertaining as well.

It took me till wee hours of morning just to finished the past episode I miss but it pays off because the story is great and even the characters.... To Ms. Jennifer... Thank You for putting up a great show that I can't hardly wait for the next episode.

Okay I started watching Dexter...I really like it.. and True Blood. Just finished the first episode. I did watch all of the Dark Angels when it was on TV and was sad that it got canceled :( I watched a couple of Veronica Mars but stopped because it conflicted with something else. I didn't give Chuck a chance because I thought it was going to be canceled...that's the risk you take sometimes with these shows. I am so scared to get invested in a show only for it to be canceled. It sucks. It's like playing the lottery each season hoping that you have picked winners. So it looks like the thing to do is wait for shows to air for at least one season to see if it gets picked up again. In the mean time I will have my hands full checking out all of the new shows(not new but new to me) you have suggested. Thanks. :)

I am hooked on GW. Also, The Big Bang Theory is soo funny. I love the dry humor that Sheldon uses. Those are the only two I watch on a regular basis. All the others is just not so good
