just a heads up these books are horribly written, many of the story lines are unresolved and then forgotten about, alot doesn't make sense, and the characters aren't given any time to be developed before new ones replace them. If you are determined to go through all these books i seriously recommend reading the short stories as well in accordance to time line with the books, it will help you understand whats going on at the beginning of some of them, where new characters pop up from, and over lap on some events and/or missing information that is not mentioned in the books. wikipedia sookie stackhouse stories too
