:-)

As a long time fan of the books, i am so happy to see this wonderful story come to life for a new audience. While it is very different from the books, i think it still captures the characters and makes for a very entertaining show!!

I would agree, it is good, but at the same time it is disappointing. It has a lot of differences from the books and some of them are important

I started reading the book series in 95 after it came out, (I personally love anything with swords, wizards, and fantasy lands), and your all right its nothing like the books. But give the show a chance, at first it was hard to adjust to, but now yeah its a cool show they just have characters from the book adapted to a television series what do expect from an hour long weekly series. Sure the hardcore readers of the book series would pick every little difference, but the show is starting to have underlying plots to develop the characters like the books did, its just harder to do in a hour on television show. If you didn't read the series and your looking at; the setting, the special effects, and character costumes and make-up, this show has already out done anything in recent years of this genre. I think Zedd is a great looking wizard and the fight scenes are awesome matrix with swords.I'm looking forward to Shota turning up as well, she was great in the books, I can hardly wait to see her on the show. The only thing I think should have been more emphasized is the power the sword has over Richard in fights and how it flows with rage and feels his as well. I think the hardcore book people need to give the show a chance and stop nit-picking the differences. For entertainment, The Legend of the Seeker, weekly serial has everything I'm looking for.
