a sneak peek at season 4

while not much information has been released about the two-hour season premiere here is something to tide the fans over and make up for the next few bone-less months, courtesy of SpoilerFix:

Episode 4.01: The He in the She (Season premiere?)

Airdate: August 26, 2008 (tentative date)

05/21 - Two hippies fish out a skeletonized wrist. Cam, Booth, Brennan and a grad student go to the scene to investigate. The lab is using some of Brennan's brighter grad students until they hire a permanent Forensic Anthropologist. In this episode, grad student Vincent Juarez is working along the team. Brennan doesn't seem happy with this tasking and sends Vincent back to the lab even if Cam brought him along. Vincent also has a hard time around Cam because he makes lame jokes and uses familiar terms that will not please Brennan. At first, the team believes the body is that of a female, 40-year-old Patricia Ludmuller. Further investigation proves that Patricia was born a male. Brennan and Booth still have therapy sessions with Sweets. Hodgins and Angela also appear. Source: SpoilerFix.com [Note: It is possible this episode airs later as rumor as it the series will start the season with the 2-hour episode they will shoot in the U.K.]

04/23 - "We're currently shooting our second episode back from the strike, and that's the first two of the eight we are shooting through the end of June. The last two of that eight will be a two-parter shot on location in London, England - we hope. The two that we'll shoot in England are supposed to air as the season four premiere on August 26, and then the middle four episodes of those eight will air after the season premiere, in September," [show runners Hart Hanson reveals.] Source: Kristin on E!Online

04/09 - Get used to the name "Vincent Juarez." I suspect we may be seeing a lot of him next season. He's one of Dr. Brennan's brighter grad students and he'll be joining the Squints until Brennan can find a new full-time forensic anthropologist. The yet-to-be-cast character loves to lighten the mood in the lab, but he definitely thinks he's funnier than he actually is. [...] In related news, does anyone know why Bones would be looking for a new full-time forensic anthropologist? Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide [Note: This episode was labelled as episode 3.15 on the script.]

also, for any Bones/Booth fans, it has been confirmed that there will finally be some real lip-lock action between the two next season!

Finally! I'm pleased to hear that Booth/Bones will move their relationship on. I hope this isn't like when they said that Booth and Bones would kiss at Xmas episode. That was just sad. They need to stop teasing us!Looking forward to seeing new episodes. Something to look forward to when summer has gone.

The minute they stop teasing us is the minute the ratings go down. With out Un-resolved Sexual Tension the show is, while great, not able to tread water i don't believe.

Yeah I agree, the second that tension goes down, the show won't be as good... Hopefully they won't turn the show into a more dramatic soap type thing... But i'm sure they won't. And i thought the little thing with the gum in the christmas episode when it ended up in Booth's mouth was actually pretty funny..

idk, i mean there may always be that tension to a certain extent, just because they then have a releae that can also bring in a whole new slew of problems as there's the actual datign drama
and then, also, who knows what they'll do after they kiss, it may not be a picture-esque as we may assume it to be. i can just imagine them avoiding it for episodes, awkwardly trying to apporach it only to give up

Yeah i just really hope that they don't just kiss and then decide there's nothing there besides a strong friendship cuz that would really suck. Or even worse if they lose their friendship over something like that- because that would add tension to the show and keep us watching, but only for so long...

Although I agree, and hate to say this, the show can only go for so long. I mean they're eventually going to run out of plots right?

well, i think that they can pull off a few more seasons, esp. if they do a few more multi-episode arcs. i mean look at how long CSI and Law & Order (and their numrous offspring) have gone on, each a new case

Yeah agree with both comments, I mean yeah it can only last so long.. (Wtf am i gonna do with my life when it ends...?!) But I think if they were to make some more like the whole Gormagon (however that's spelled) story, and work a little more on the way it unravels then that could last awhile. And they could bring in the Grave Digger again.. Plus just put in a little more about hunting down the criminals.. Yeah i think that would work haha i've been talking to myself.

I really enjoy watching the Bones series and own season's one and two. All actors are great but Emily(Dr.Brennan)and David(agent Booth)are my two best picks on the show.

Finally for some real lip-lock action! Hehe. I love Bones and Booth together, so it'll be interesting to see their relationship evolve more[?]. :]I'm a bit sad about them finding a new full-time forensic anthropologist. But I can see why Bones is trying to find someone mostly since Bones enjoyed having Zack and was rather sad in finding out he was the apprentice.
