BSG Mini Series anyone?

Did anyone get the feeling they were watching the episode "Water" from BSG? I couldn't help but get that feeling. The "We are all going to die" if we don't deal with the problem. I'm was waiting for Dr. Rush to see Caprica Six in a dream, and for LT. Scott to walk up to his locker, and see the word Cylon written on the mirror.

Yep. Definitely trying for the BSG mood; we would never have had a sex scene in SG1 or Atlantis. But then they counter that with geeky teen boy. They need to make up their minds on how dark they want to go.
And how does a ship leaking air for millenia (presumably) happen to only have 1 day left when they arrive?
They haven't gotten into it yet, but this is kinda like "Enterprise" in that we are looking at relatively primitive Ancient technology after having seen 'state-of-the-art' in Atlantis.

I'll have to go with the Stargate Atlantis problem. When getting to a new area, the writers must have a, dire situation for the audience to want to buy into why they are there.
I agree about the technology, as it doesn't look like they have rings or a teleporter on board. So i'm guessing this is pre ascended ancient tech, but i think they were atleast "orion" (the warship) level technology. Also i'll be interested in hearing about this tech too.
I pray they don't make the enterprise mistake.
