i think hes the bad guy but now, after having a grandson and seeing his sons grow up and walk out of his life as well as both of the women hes loved, his brother dying because of him, spending years in prison and finding out that he might not have alot of time left to life because of his heart hes figured out that he cant lead the life he used to and needs to change so that people would remember him for the person he became towards the end of his life not the man he used to be.
i agree with xoxo_jonas but i dont think it will work i mean killing your own brother isnt something people forget because you act all good towards the end of your life and every one knows hed be the bad guy still if he wasnt dying. alos why the hell do Nathan and Haley let Jamie be alone with him i wouldnt trust him alone with my child would you?
I agree with both of you, but i disagree with the part when someone said he should not be trusted with his grandson Jaime. I think Dan has not been such an good guy in the past, however he has changed and learned from his mistakes. Your past does not determine your future only you are. This does not excuse him from killing Keith, however everyone deserves an second chance, especially if like i said before a person learns from their mistakes.Dan has definitely learned from his. He has served his four years in jail and has also dealt with the other consequences of everyone shutting themselves from him.He knows that he has not been such an great role model figure for Nathan and now wants to redeem himself and be one for Jaime. There is nothing wrong with turning your life around especially if you know you got six months to live and you want to remembered for the good person you were.
