Poor Poor Movie, worse then the book.

The book was, while neither well written or even good, at least addicting. The movie, however, was not so. It suffered from a poor choice for female lead, we've long known Kristen Stewart cannot act, nor, as displayed in this movie, show emotion. It also suffered even more so from horrible directing. Extreme closeups and burning glances do not make chemistry. This movies only saving grace was Robert Pattinson, and even he suffered from the deplorable directing and his deplorable costar.

The Book great Loved them am totally addicted... The Movie however . I did not go into it thinking it was going to be great . Unlike the Harry Potter series I never think the movies are better than the books. So Keeping an open mind I walked into the movie theater with no other expectations than to be entertained.. It was cheesy , the dialogue was horrible the special effects rediculous, And honestly it looked like it was shot with a really bad soap opera camera men and angles.. and yet throughout it all I found myself laughing, and enjoying the flaming disaster that was this movie...I think maybe because it brought to me a new dimension to the book. I mean in my mind when i read it I could visualize the town what I thought Edward to look like... and in the sense of the movie it brought it gave me a new take on what I thought it to be which makes me want to go and read all four books again and put the people and the places I saw in the movie and put it into context ... Anyway While the movie was a buring car crash of twisted metalic wreckage I actually Loved it Cheese and all ... LMAO

I totally agree with everything that "TeamEdward" said. No lie, I said that exact same thing to my friend when we got out of the theater! She hadn't read the book, which I think she's probably one of the only people in the world who hasn't (I lent her my copy afterwards and she is now reading it) and she thought the movie was excellent, and I am not saying that it wasn't a HORRIBLE movie but since my life was and is those books I was a little bit disapointed. And I knew walking into it that it couldn't be exactly like the book but it could have been better. And seriously!? could have picked a worse person to play Bella?!?! (nothing personal against Kristen Stewart) I don't think so! Kristen Stewart was just wrong for Bella, Edward was perfect, and Alice, Emmett, Jasper, Rosalie, and Carlisle were AMAZING! But, really...the movie was totally not what I was hoping, wishing, and longing for for the last few months while waiting anxiously for it to come to theaters. At least I got a laugh from it. I just hope that New Moon has a different director (and doesn't totally kill the meaning of the title in the last scene like Twilight did...grr...).
