NARUTO Shippuden will begin airing on Disney's new XD channel this fall! According to Viz Media, the newly launched cable channel will kick off in October with new action-packed episodes of the world's most popular ninja show.
"Disney XD is a growing destination for... boys 6-14, and we're looking forward to bringing the adventures of NARUTO Shippuden to our lineup," says Tracy McAndrew, Director, Acquisitions and Co-Productions, Disney-ABC Cable Networks Group.
Naruto was introduced to Japan in 1999, and has sold more than 92 million copies to date, making it by far the most popular ninja series in the world. The manga series and animated counterpart has also attracted millions of fans across North America, Europe and South America.
