What I think might happen

ok so i may be totally off but i have this feeling the reason that dean was brought back from hell was because he will be the only one to stop Sam if Sam keeps using his ability...because i think Sam is going to get stronger with this demon blood in him...and it is only a matter of time

yeah, this is the general assumption. However, most of us that there's more to it than that, because Sam will never be "evil" without being possessed. Although Cass probably helped make him worse when he met Sam and was rude to him. Tsk, tsk. These angels are no better than demons. I think that's the point. And Sam and Dean can't disagree for too long. Even if it all comes down to those two fighting, in the end they'll turn out on the same side. Because that's what's so great about the Winchesters. They put each other first.

Another great episode. I loved that they used the urban legend about razor blades in the apples and I liked the whole history of Samhain as the demon behind Halloween. It made for a very interesting story.
But the best part of the episode was the Winchesters interactions with the angels. Robert Wisdom as Uriel was a great addition. But I guess the real question is did Dean pass the test?

This may sound a bit dumb but I think that Sam was given demon blood to maybe be a potential vessel for Lucifer when he is released.

Yeah! I think that you are all right on. Everything has a price but Sam has never investigated the price tag for using his abilities. I think each time he does he loses something of himself (as physically demonstrated by the bleeding nose). It wouldn't be the first time that God and the Devil have faced off using a human between them. Kinda funny God gets Dean for his champion (the wild one) and Satan gets Sam for his (the religious one). As to Cass (who I really like, strong but good) he hesitated to shake the hand of one who could win the war for the other side but in the end still recognized his goodness. When he told Sam he questioned God's judgment sometimes I think he was referring to Sam (as in why not just smite him).As to passing the test. The Angels passed-following orders they didn't understand.Dean passed because he refused to accept Sam's demon power under any circumstance. The Devil drew closer to winning this war game with God, not because of a broken seal, but because Sam failed. The final test will be when Satan possesses enough of Sam and he must choose between power and love. Dean thinks he's the chosen one but really he's just a chess piece in this game and it is Sam who is the king.
